Starting from Därligen at Lake Thun, we embark on an ascending journey through Meielisalp towards the Leissigen Panorama Bridge. Prepare for an exhilarating experience as we cross the 140-meter-long suspension bridge, soaring up to 60 meters above ground.
Continuing along gravel paths and trails, we ascend further into the mountains, enjoying stunning views of Lake Thun and its surroundings at every turn.
Upon reaching Aeschiallmi, we'll reach the highest point of the hike at 1,144 meters above sea level.
As we descend towards Aeschiried, the views shift to the Kandertal region and the famous pyramid-shaped Niesen mountain. Finally, a gently sloping path guides us to our destination, Aeschi b. Spiez.
For those looking for an easier and shorter hike, the Därligen to Leissigen route is a fantastic alternative. This picturesque trail offers breathtaking views throughout, leading us to the stunning Badi Leissigen at the end. Here, we can relax with refreshing drinks, savour delicious food, and even take a swim in the clear lake. As the sun sets, the sky lights up with a symphony of colors, providing the perfect backdrop to our adventure. This tour takes around 2.5hours and has only 300hm altitude.
